We develop “the independent living support specialist” for a physically disabled, elderly and mentally challenged and developmentally disabled person.

The aim of the program is to be aware and ready to become a medical professional, and to increase motivation to study in subsequent student life.

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Since opening in 1997, having our education philosophy “develop a human resources with rich in humanity and practical skills”, we have produced more than 2000 graduates (physical therapists and occupational therapists). Most of graduates earn high reputation at their work.

Working as physical therapists and occupational therapists is required not only expertise but also manner, attitude, and morality. It would be difficult to offer a therapy unless treat the patients with morality and philosophy of life that based on warm heart to earn the trust as a medical professional. Treatment begins with building personal relationships of trust with respect for the patient and understanding of the patient's life and social position.

It is important to study hard for 4 years at our school, and learn specialized knowledge, skills, medical attitudes, and acquire the basics of clinical skills required in medical practice.
As medical needs become more diversified, complicated, and sophisticated due to advances in medicine and medical technology, even after acquiring a national qualification, medical professionals who constantly study themselves are required.
